I run Ubuntu 16.04.2 fully updated with kodi 17.1 from the team-xbmc/ppa on my laptop. My laptop has i5-7300hq CPU with nvidia 1050Ti graphics card. I ‘m on the 4.8 kernel and use the latest 375 nvidia drivers. The problem is that most of the time (but not always !?) kodi is running it has very high CPU usage. I am including the logs which can be found here. I ‘ve seen this thread but since I have the latest stable nvidia drivers (375) I don’t think it applies. any ideas on how to address the issue?
