Hello everyone,
I was just given a D-Link DNS-321 with two drives. I checked the firmware on the unit and it has the most up to date.
I have one Think Pad running CentOS-6.8 and another running CentOS-5.11, they both mounted the NFS share with very little difficulty.
I am running Kodi 16.1 on an Android 4.4.2 HiMedia Q1. Everything works great except my Kodi box accessing the NFS share.
I have it to the point where I can see the Shared Directory but can not access any files. I have tried everything, file rights, directory rights, group rights.
I have pretty much run out of ideas, other than if I could figure out what UID and GID Kodi is trying to authenticate with I think I could get it to work.
I tried SMB and it works however I would much rather not use SMB.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks
Rick
