My Matricom G-Box 2 upgraded (automatically) last night to Android 5.1.1, and Quasar stopped working.
I was on Kodi 16 using the latest Quasar and it worked perfectly, but since the OS update it says “OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied”.
I tried uninstalling-reinstalling Kodi and Quasar but the error persisted. Then I tried Kodi 17 (beta 5), with or without Magnetic for Quasar, and also tried KMediaTorrent as a Quasar alternative, but neither of them work.
I’m NOT using an external SD card, all files are in the built-in storage of the device. And it’s NOT a connection or ports issue, because Exodus works perfectly, and Popcorn Time for Android works perfectly as well (I don’t use them, but I tried them as a test).
