Hi,
I have a Minix Neo U1 & I have a problem with shares. I now have a Windows 10 PC with 7 HDD’s full of various media connected to it. I have set up a Homegroup but when I try to add a share via SMB I can only see the ‘Workgroup’.
The Workgroup allows me to see the HDD’s but I can only connect to two of them (E: & F. If I try to connect to the other drives (G:, H:, I:, J: & K I get an ‘Invalid argument’ error. I have thoroughly searched this forum & Minix’s one & none of the fixes work for me & I am at a bit of a loss.
How do I set it up so I can ‘see’ the ‘Homegroup’ & will this fix my problem? Do I have to delete the ‘Workgroup’?
I have set up UPnP & I can see all my media through that but when I add the source it will not scan into the library. It will play from the file list because I assume it is a stream but that leaves me without a library function which is the whole point of KODI for me.
Whilst I’m asking some questions can anybody explain what the ‘Invalid argument’ error actually means?
Thank you.
