Problem re-installing KODI

Hello, I tried to update KODI on my MAC to the latest version “Jarvis” and having difficulty. I keep getting ERROR Message saying “KODI is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the trash” and I’ve tried 3-4 times. I had “v.15.1 Isengard” and now I cannot re-install either version, please help! — danab
