Kodi 16.1 feed media to Dish Hopper 3?

Over at DBStalk I was told Kodi would be good for passing my local Win 7 pc hd media files to my Dish Network Hopper3 DVR.
I asked about WMP but got answers not just WMP but Kodi
Kodi is definitely what I’d like to use, love Kodi, but I can’t find any setting/toggle/plug-in that will make it show up as a source device on the Hopper’s Home Media screen. I’ve already been able to make various other software work this way, each with its own problems. And of course Netflix feeds from the wired ethernet router to the Hopper. Hence this question, setting/toggle/plug-in?
