I’m using Kodi on AFTV2 and using the xbmc_env.properties to store all information to the USB drive. Sometimes I pressed the Home button on the remote by accident, then Kodi does nothing but return to the home screen of the AFTV. This is fine somehow, but it seems Kodi exits abnormally if this situation happens. Because when I reopen Kodi, it doesn’t repect the xbmc_env.properties file and just use the /sdcard to store all data. That location is empty, so I can see the default menu, addon updates, etc., just like I run Kodi at the first time. If I close Kodi then and restart it, it will behave normally and respect the xbmc_env.properties file.
Two questions:
1. I see several apps can warn you when you press the Home button on the remote. Can Kodi add this feature? Or just like SPMC, only hide not exit?
2. Why it doesn’t resprect the xbmc_env.properties file if it exit abnormally?
