Hello, I am new to all of this, and I apologize in advance if I post this in the wrong forum. I bought an android TV box i68 from a person online that configures the box and is ready to use when you receive it. It came pre-loaded with Kodi and it was jail broken (I think it was jail broken.) It has the latest version of Kodi and I updated my android version and it got rid of my Kodi icon and it’s no longer listed in the installed apps. I have android version 5.1.1 and kernel version 3.10.0_205. Kodi was originally installed through the play store and when I search it on there, it gives me the option to uninstall or open Kodi. Again, it is not showing up anywhere else aside from the fact that it is in the play store as installed. I have tried to download Kodi through the browser on the device itself and installing it, as well as installing from a flash drive. Both failed multiple times. I would prefer that I don’t have to do a clean install because I wouldn’t know how to get all of the things that are currently on the box. Is there a way for me to get the icon back so I don’t have to go back to the play store and keep searching for Kodi and opening from there? Please help and your help is appreciated in advance. Thanks.
