Hi guys,
Sorry to be a pain to ask such a question. I’ve been searching through the forums and trying a few things, but I can’t seem to come up with a correct answer to my issue. What I’m looking to do is essentially assigning a keyboard shortcut to an addon function (LimitlessLightControl) so that I can then use my Flirc/Logitech Harmony to switch the lights off and on.
LimitlessLightControl has the ability to turn my LimitlessLED/MiLight/EasyBulbs on and off and set for dimming in movie playback etc. When I click on the addon it opens up a secondary menu which allows me to select from a few things like: On, Off, Normal, Dimmed etc that then change the light.
I’d love to be able to assign on and off to a keyboard short cut but for the life of me cannot figure out how. From one of the threads I found on here apparently Python scripts assign a WindowID or something of the sort, but I would not know where to begin?
I’m currently running Kodi on OSMC. Any help would be extremely grateful. Happy to provide any more info if needed.
