Bluetooth Inconsistent in OSMC 2016.11-1 Kodi 16.1

I’ve been having a heck of a time getting my Jabra Move 2.5 headset or any BT device for that matter to work consistently.

If I reboot my Raspberry Pi 3 OSMC 2016 11-1 Kodi 16.1 box.. and go to My OSMC and re-connect.. then select the audio output device as ALSA: OSMC Bluetooth speaker.. I can get it to work.

Once it’s working, it keeps working. But getting it to work initially is a bunch of re-connect BT device, turn headset on and off.. switch audio back and forth from HDMI to ALSA.. maybe even another reboot.

It eventually works but it’s so inconsistent in how it starts working.

When I switch back to HDMI.. sounds go thru the monitor. But if I want to use BT again.. I really have to issue a restart of Pulseaudio and do the crazy stuff above or reboot the box.

One time.. just for one day.. I was able to hear the sounds thru the monitor, switch on headphones.. sounds.. turn off headphones.. back to monitor.. that was awesome! Never happened again.

Here is a link to my kodi.log file. I have posted a thread on OSMC about this. I have an Android box running Kodi 16.1 It has no issues.

I’m thinking it’s OSMC and how Bluetooth works in that OS. It certainly works fine on Android.
