I’ve got a little bit of a mystery on my hands here. Kodi is scraping only the first season of a show and ignoring season two. The seasons are in the same folder and have the same naming format. TheTVDB lists both seasons. I’ve tried renaming to various alternate formats as well as renaming the entire folder to be more accurate.
I seem to recall having a problem a while back when I first added this show to my database. It seems like there was some kind of pop up that asked if i wanted to ignore the folder (back when season 2 was in a folder all by itself, right after I downloaded it). I’ve tried everything I can think of to get Kodi to recognize this season in my library and I’ve been on Google looking for answers for several hours now.
Here are some details about my setup:
I’m running Windows 10 Home x64
MySQL database to share the database with all my devices (used the kodi wiki to set this up and I literally know nothing else about MySQL so if it’s a problem with that then I’m going to need some detailed instructions on how to fix it)
Kodi version 16.1 on all devices
File structure is as follows:
TV Shows/Show Name/1×01 – Episode Name.mkv
The “TV Shows” folder is the one shared in Kodi. All shows and episodes scrape fine, including all of the season 1 episodes of the show in question. Season 2 episodes are in the exact same folder and have the exact same naming structure as season 1, but they do not scrape.
Is there some sort of ignore list that I can reset? Can I add some kind of .nfo file to force it to scrape the info?
Thanks in advance for any help!
