Mpeg2 1080i video slow playback

Hi all
This is to report that kodi 17 (verified beta 7 and rc1) plays in a sort of slow motion video 1080i encoded in mpeg2 (TS container). Kodi 16.1 works perfectly. The audio is reproduced at the correct pitch, so it starts to anticipate the video and after a while, Kodi stops, rebuffer and starts again (with the same problem). The device is a Samsung galaxy S7 edge. Mediacodec is enabled, the video are dvb-t stream of HD TV channels via tvheadend. There are no usefull info from logs, just noticed that the CPU load is high, as the video are software decoded. 480p channels work ok.
