greybars on plasma tv dont work since kodi 15.2

I use xbmc / kodi for 6 years with a plasma TV and Panasonic has always worked great until version 15.2 isengard. but since version 16 no longer works variable / blackbarcolour> to change the color of the black bars and having gray!

I researched for hours in the web but no one is complaining about this problem! the plasma TV now need to have the gray bars to not have overlays of images,

and it seems strange that there are still people who have this type of tv. without a fix I am forced to stay with version 15.2
