Can I use firestick with kodi in Italy?

Can someone tell me if I can use a firestick with Kodi in Italy to see American tv? Or how to go about it? I’m going to be traveling soon. Just wondering if this will work. Or how to make it work. New to this experience and this forum, I’m a kodi kindergartener lol. Thank you in advance for patient and clear answers.
