As the NAS world is a new adventure to me, my knowledge is based on tutorials, etc.
I’m trying to set Kodi 17 up on my QNAP, and can add videos, etc, to it. However, steps 6 & 7 on this page isn’t available to me

There is no Set Content window, anything. Then I noticed this line at the top:
Note: UPnP won’t work with the library features (scanning data in like summaries and movie covers) in Kodi, but just about all the other options should be fine.
I’m getting my sources through UPnP, which probably explains why I can’t set content, get summaries, movie covers, etc.
My question is this: is there a way to get that? My content is on the QNAP NAS itself, where Kodi is installed. The NAS is connected to my receiver\TV. If UPnP won’t work, is there another method?
