Good morning,
I have recently installed Kodi 16.1 onto my Intel®Atom™CPM [email protected] but when I playback a video the screen jumps roughly every 15 seconds.
As the screen jumps consistently every 15 seconds I believe the refresh rate needs adjusting in order to remove the glitch. I have therefore used Kinkins Easy Advanced Settings to instruct a refreshrate of 49.0 – 51.0 should the fps be between 24.51 and 25.50 (video playsback at 25fps). The settings can be seen clearly in the debug log https://paste.ubuntu.com/23744347 so it appears they have at least been recognised.
When watching the video I press O and notice the refresh rate shows 60.059 regardless of whether the advancedsettings.xml is used or not. Does this mean the advancedsettings.xml is being ignored? I am trying initially to alter the refreshrate with a view to tweaking it so the playback glitch disappears. Is there a quick way of working out what refresh rate I should be using to be glitch free? How do I go about forcing the refresh rate to change from 60.059?
My settings are as follows;
Adjust display refresh rate ALWAYS
Sync playback to display ON
Allow hardware acceleration – DXVA2 ON
Don’t rule out the obvious, I am new to Kodi and have very limited computer or coding experience so please provide any instructions and explanations as fully and simply as possible. Thankyou
