Hi all. Tonight I removed Kodi 16.1 and installed the 17 beta 2 from the windows store.
The primary features are working. It plays videos and I can see the weather. 😉
So far I’m experience three problems:
1) the debug log isn’t created. I turn on debug logging. I see the status in the top left. It proived the location in which it is saving. However, no log file is created at that location. And I can’t find it elsewhere.
2) My xbox 360 controller isn’t working in kodi. Works fine elsewhere like games, but not in this version of kodi. I’d give you a log file, but (1).
3) When I exit kodi, I usually get a black screen and nothing else. Windows is still functioning somewhere because I can still get to its hard drive over the network. But the screen is completely black/blank. I have to power cycle the computer.
I see at least one other post on the controller issue. They suggest beta2 had the fix. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=…controller

Windows 10 x64 anniversary edition with all current updates
AMD E-350 w/ dual proc
AMD HD6310 graphics
HDMI out for graphics
SPDIF for audio
XBox 360 wireless controller
