Troubble watching movies in Kodi.

Somehow kodi has changed for me. I can no longer play all the movies in my library, some movies wont start at all, some movies are playing in the background i think. I can hear sound, some movies starts but “buffers” out. And in some movies i can no longer skip chapters or play them fast forward and backwards
