I have two drives installed in my HTPC: An internal SATA DVD burner and an external USB BD burner.
Ubuntu MATE 16.04.1 LTS gives the DVD drive a device name of /dev/sr0 and the BD drive gets /dev/sr1
If I insert a movie DVD in the BD drive while running Kodi 16.1 (installed from team-xbmc PPA via apt), I get notifications that the disc has been detected and mounted, but no Play Disc item appears on the main menu.
Is Kodi’s Play Disc logic hard-wired to only work with /dev/sr0 and not /dev/sr1 or something? Or is MATE’s automounting somehow interfering?
The Kodi debug basically log just shows UDev notices (regarding the automount under /media/username/label) when I physically eject/reinsert the disc and otherwise no mention of it.
