Hi guys,
I’ve been trying different combinations and follow the instruction to setup mpc-hc and madvr but i can’t get rid of micro stuttering.
HP ProBook 4530s
dual switchable gpu, intel hd3000 and amd hd6490m
i5 2510m, 3.4ghz
mpc-hc set to use amd but kodi won’t run using amd
i’ve configured kodi to use mpc-hc for default playback
at first I thought it’s because it’s in kodi (using intel’s gpu) so i tried standalone mpc-hc from windows and same
file is in local drive, h.264 1080p 24fps movie
it’s watchable but if i pay close attention i can see micro stuttering
even if i use bilinear for chroma
when using bilinear/bicubic i got
display and composition rate around 60hz
frame repeat about every 40s or so
frame interval around 40ms
all queues almost full
dropped frame < 50
presentation glitches < 20
rendering < 10ms
present < 1ms
so looking at stats it should be pretty good and i think my amd gpu is quite adequate to run smoothly using bilinear, at least.
any help to troubleshoot or something to look first is much appreciated
