Hey guys,
I am having a issue with my Raspberry PI 3 Running Kodi 16, and would love any help you can provide.
The PI is handling Kodi great and streams picture looks great and it works directly with my tv remote. The issue I am having is with the SMB sharing of a folder over my network. Basically I have more recent downloads in a folder called ‘Downloads’, before I can organize them. A good amount of the time I will just go and watch things from here. However on the PI every time I access said folder it shows a different amount of files/folders, never close to the full amount. I have an acer r1600 on another tv with Kodi installed and this same thing works great. I don’t have Kodi scan this folder yet, because it is mixed up with Movies, tv shows, and other things. So I like to just access it directly.
I have been looking and looking for a fix for this and nothing…I would really like to figure out issue because I’m looking to replace my Acer with another PI but don’t want to if it still has this issue. The folder usually does have a large amount of data in there but I have shrunk it down and still had the issue. It is weird, I can refresh and it will show 1 folder and 3 files, I refresh again it shows 1 file, again it shows 20 files no folders….I have no clue….
Any help would be much appreciated, and let me know if you need more information about my set up.
Thank you
