Hi guys,
fresh install of ubuntu mate 14.04.5 LTS
kernel: Linux x86 64-bit version 4.4.0-38-generic
2.8.6-kodi-2.8.6-Jarvis-16.0

I installed it via:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo apt-get install –install-suggests kodi
Simply doesn’t boot via menu or terminal & spits out the error log in the paste above.
I’m not running ubuntu 16, as I tried and my ATI graphics card performed better under 14.04, so I reinstalled 14.
Any idea? Let me know if you require any more logs etc.
