Hey, I’ve been looking around at way to get netflix (legally) on my raspberry pi media setup. I saw people talking about playon and it looked promising so i signed up. Now while going through things and trying to get it working, i noticed that everything is telling me to install the playon client (on windows) and then hook up via uPnP. Is this exactly how it should work? or is there a way to go direct from playon to kodi without needing a windows pc?
The whole point of my raspberry pi install is so that i don’t constantly have to run my pc. I just wanna be able to leave the pi running, then when im ready head onto netflix have a look around and play something i wanna watch.
I mean if this is how it works, then hey, so be it. Just would be super nice to be able to do it without the pc requirement.
Thanks for the info, and i hope it doesnt seem like im bashing it, im not, just if it works like this it doesnt really fit with what i’m personally trying to accomplish.
ps, i am a netflix subscriber so i dont want any free or dodgy addons. Happy to pay for netflix but just want to use it conveniently
