need help with 4k movies on kodi 16.1

HI all,
Appreciate if anyone can help please,
I have kodi 16.1 installed on my Philips android TV model 49pus790912, I am having problem viewing 4 k movies.
what I run 4k movie from YouTube it worked perfectly but when try to view 4k movie from kodi its jerky and slow motion and sound disappears after few second,
am I having TV software problem or is it from kodi.
