Every time I open Kodi, the internet crashes

I’ve used krypton beta 2 and jarvis 16.1 and every time I open kodi for some reason my internet crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both version a few different times. Each time my internet crashes, I close Kodi and try to open up a page on chrome. It doesn’t work at first but I run diagnose and it can’t find the problem or sometimes it will tell me it can’t connect to the DNS. After that I refresh and the internet is fine and works fine until I try to open Kodi again. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
