Ratings alone on a movie can sometimes be misleading if coupled with a very low number of votes.
Kodi provides the ability to add rules based on votes, but votes are treated as text, not as numerical values, and so you can’t create a rule like:
‘Votes greater than 50’
And also, you can’t sort by votes in any of the views.
For example, I’d like to create rules to show movies with a rating 7 or higher, and then sort these movies by votes.
Note: In Kodi v16, you could sort by votes (although you could not create a numerical rule for votes either).
