Hope someone can help with this. I’ve done extensive testing and I’m pretty sure this is the issue.
I’m using Simple PVR client and have over 1500 channels within. If I launch a channe,l after a minute it will drop out and stop. If I watch the channel without launching via the PVR, after a fresh reboot, it plays for hours with no issue.
From what I can see, this is caused by the nearly 650MB used by the guide, as the Raspberry Pi’s memory usage spikes from 23 to 83%, and once the channel starts streaming, I’m guessing there isn’t enough remaining system RAM to cope.
Is this any way to free-up the memory used by the PVR client after launching a channel?
