Hi,
I have had KODI up and running stably, and with very few issues, for at least a year, but when I changed my amplifier this week-end I realized that the sound output from my HDMI-cable was stereo only, not 5.1. So I tried updating drivers as suggested on an AMD forum, but after I did that, and restarted the HTPC, I get the following error messages:
“Kodi.exe System Error The program can’r start because MSVCR120.dd is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.” twice, and
“Uh oh, can’t load sqlite3.dll, exiting.“
I also lost all sound on the HTPC. I am trying to get the help of a friend of mine to get at least some sound back, even if it is only stereo, but he knows mostly hardware and nothing about KODI.
I am not a programmer at all, simply an HTPC enthusiast, and I am very concerned that if I try to reinstall KODI I will lose a lot of configurations I have done over the years, so I am reluctant to try it other than as a last resort…
Can anyone offer me some advice? It would be much appreciated!
Best regards
Christopher
