I have been running Kodi 16 for a while on my Sony Android tv with no problems,until that is i tried to use it today and it would not open, i cleared the data and cache and it then opened but i found it had updated to Kodi 17, i had the tv set to auto update apps so it is my fault that i found the brand new kodi 17 installed and all of my favourite addons etc all gone
no problem i thought , i will just reload what i had before,so after adding a scource i then went to settings to install from a zip file but i find i do not have this option, i am guessing it is in the build somewhere but for the life of me i am unable to find it or to work out how to install from a zip file in the new build, which by the way is just amazing
my tv is running Android 5.1.1 and the Kodi V is Kodi 17.0 Git:20170201-a10c504
any help would be most appreciated and appologies in advance if i have missed something basic
