Does tempo control works with Tvheadend?

Kodi 17 implemented tempo control (x0.8 to x1.5 speed with pitch corrected audio) and it’s working fine with Tvheadend recorded MPEG TS file when it is opened as a local file. But, when I try to open the same recording through Tvheadend HTSP client, I cannot change the tempo. Is this a known limitation for now? Or am I missing any setting?
