Kodi keeps vobs open on unRAID server

I watched a movie 2 days ago on my FireTV with Kodi and just noticed today that all the vobs are still present in the “Active Streams” tab. Stopping the movie doesn’t seem to free them and neither does logging off. Exiting Kodi does release the files. If I start something else, it will release them, but keep the new files open. Any ideas how to fix this? Is there a setting I can change? Does the code need to change to include a time out?
