[Linux] Color Displacement

Ever since upgrading to Elementary OS Loki (based on Ubuntu 16.04) Kodi’s video playback has been very weird, while for instance VLC plays videos totally normal. The colors seem like they’re displaced horizontally.

I’ve tried changing almost every video setting which is available in Kodi and nothing works. The only thing I can think of is me being on OpenGL drivers (Nouveau) but my system crashes when I change to Nvidia drivers.
Can anybody please help?
