1080p24 on Amp

When playing mkv files that are 1080p24 does anyone actually get 1080p24 showing on the front display of their amp?

I get hd sound and my TV states it is displaying 1080p24, but the amp just shows 1080p.

My setup is hdmi to HTPC to amp to TV.
