I’ve never had this problem on my box before, but I recently helped install Kodi to someone elses, and because they have kids using it too, they don’t always shut off the program properly or it gets left on till it goes into power save mode, or is turned off … and when they turn the box back on, it displays the last screen, but it’s faded black, and is flickering. Usually clicking the home key on the button would solve an issue for me like that and i could close the kodi app and restart, but nothing is responsive on their box. Sometimes I can hear the clicking sounds, but the screen doesn’t change… and all I am left able to do when this happens is pull the power cable out and plug it back in, which results in that annoying “click ok from pull down screen” or whatever it is, which i’ve looked into and is caused because I pulled the power out… but I have no other choice… or do I? Is there anything I can adjust to stop it from doing that, or should I just try to drill into a 6 year olds brain that you have to click on the power-off button on the screen in order to avoid this? lol
