Krypton not capable of running in background on Android?

I just did a fresh install of Krypton on Fire Tv and it seems to close when I launch Netflix. In the previous version when I would close Netflix, it would take me straight back to a running version of Kodi, now it takes me to the kodi loading screen.
If I’m in Netflix for just a few minutes, it goes back to Krypton just fine, it’s after I’ve been in Netflix for a few episodes that’s when the close happens.
