I just updated to Kodi 17 from 16.1 and noticed that the keyboard shortcuts for going a custom distance forward or backward during video playback (for example, pressing numbers 13 followed by the left arrow key to go back 13 seconds, which is described at Keyboard_controls (wiki)) do not seem to be working. During video playback, if I press 13, the number 13 appears on the screen, but pressing the left arrow key does nothing. Strangely, if I press 13 and then Enter, it will take me to 13 seconds into the video just like it’s supposed to. It’s just the forward or backward commands that seem to not work. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Is there a solution?
I am running Kodi 17 on a Windows 10 laptop that accesses movies on an SMB share. For what it’s worth, I prefer using the Titan skin in Kodi, but I have noticed that when using the Titan skin in Kodi 17, numbers pressed during video playback when I am trying to go a custom distance forward or backward don’t even show up on the screen like they do with the default Kodi 17 skin. But whichever skin I use, the functionality I described appears to not be working.
Thank you!
