I’ve recently discovered the possibility of adding a SFTP source to kodi and I would love to be able use it properly.
I’ve got several movies in the typical BDMV and DVD file structures and SFTP seems to have huge issues with that. The same folder via SMB with the sames settings, “scan recursively” and “each movie has it’s own folder” checked, shows no issues at all and the movies are getting detected correctly. With SFTP it first of all makes several library entries for each movie linked to single files in subfolders and then it creates entries for each subfolder, for example it links each “STREAM” folder in a BDMV tree to the movie “The Stream”. Movies with no subolders work fine though. The whole library is a huge mess 
Is that a possible bug? Am I missing something?
Running Kodi 17 final on Windows 10, haven’t checked on other OS yet.
