I tried installing libreelec on a 32 gb sd card. I used the libreelec usb-sd creator and win32 disk imager. Both times my 32 gb disk showed as only 511 mb after the installations. I then used SDFormatter to bring it back to 32 gb, which it did. But once I try to install libreelec it always shows as 511 mb.
Is this normal for this type of install ? I thought I read where people were using 16 and 32 gb cards…. why ?
Can I copy the libreelec files from the sd after performing an install to my pc, and then reformat back to 32gb. Then with the card at 32 gb just move the libreelec files from my pc back to the 32 gb sd card ? Or is the 511 mb size necessary for it to work ? If so is it best then to just use a 1 gb or so card, and use the 32 gb for something else ?
Is there another way to do this that will preserve the size of the card ?
I’m setting up a Pi3 for kodi using Libreelec.
