First time using Kodi, here is my situation: I run the installation wizard and when i check “run Kodi” in the end, everything works find, Kodi is working etc. After this first use, i have this problem: I simply cannot find the Kodi folder in the explorer. It is simply not existing in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi”, the Kodi folder in the start menu is also missing and i simply cannot find a way to launch it a second time.
I used kodi-17.1-Krypton_rc1, I tried other versions, it did not solve the problem.
I used all the standard settings during the installation.
I run Windows 7.
I enabled the display of hidden files in Windows but still cannot find Kodi.
I tried disabling my anti-virus during the installation as was suggested in a similar post but it did not help.
When i use the Windows search, there is simply no match for “kodi” on my computer besides the installation file itself.
Do you have any idea on how to solve this or how i could try to locate the place where the files are. They must be somewhere since everything works when i check “run Kodi” at the end of the install.
