Systemd autostart wont work with HDMI TV

Hey

I recently formatted my XBMCBuntu PC with a fresh copy of Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 and the latest stable Kodi

I followed this guide set up Kodi to autostart using systemd:
http://www.richud.com/wiki/Ubuntu_Minimal_KODI_Install

The autostart works, but only the laptop display is working. I have a TV connected via HDMI and want Kodi to use that. I assume it’s something to do with Kodi loading before the graphics driver, or that the graphics aren’t working properly without the window manager.

I was reading about Xorg, and tried the command nvidia-xconfig which created me an xorg.config file and now Kodi doesn’t boot on startup anymore.

I’m a bit of a Linux noob so any help here appreciated.

Cheers
Joe
