Hi all – I’ve installed Kodi 16.1 on my FireTV and Samsung tablet. No problems with the install but I’m unable to connect to my windows sources. I can see my server (after selecting Windows Network (SMB) > Workgroup > sharedfiles). I can’t however log in. I enter my windows username and password, click OK and nothing happens (the “Lock preferences for smb://sharedfiles” window keeps reappearing). I’ve also tried adding an “everyone” user in windows and then logging in from Kodi with no UN or PW but get stuck in the same loop.
The problem appears on both the FireTV and the tablet. Is there something simple that I’m missing?
