Kodi for Windows

Hi I am trying to download and install Kodi on my new firestick and I am having trouble. I have adblink working but whenever I download Kodi from their website it gets downloaded as a zip file and there is nothing there in apk format for me to install to my firestick…..am I doing something wrong?
