Is there any way to make settings changes stick?

I have a Google Pixel C tablet with Kodi 17 installed. The main use for this tablet is for playback of TV box sets that I have ripped to mkv files. Up until last week, I was using wired headphones and all worked well. I bought a set of Bluetooth headphones and now there is a problem with the audio being out of sync with the video. I can create an audio offset to bring the two in to sync but I have to do this every time I start Kodi. Is there any way to make that audio offset stick so that I don’t have to do that every time I start up Kodi?
