I just upgraded my hardware from Amazon Fire TV to a Minix Neo U1 so I could get Master audio passthrough. That works fine. However, every video file that I playback with a master audio stream (Dolby True or DTS Master) video playback stutters. The U1 should be more than powerful enough to handle these streams. The AFTV had no video playback issues whatsoever. So, whatever it is – it’s U1 specific.
I’m sure this has to be a super simple setting I’m overlooking, but I can’t figure it out. I’ve tried turning off passthrough for Master audio streams. Turned on/off MediaCodec hardware decoding. Nothing seems to work.
It does seem to be relegated to files only with master audio streams. 1080p/24 files with just regular DTS streams play just fine.
Files I’ve tried thus far with issues: Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Dark Knight. In the log.
Any help is appreciated.

Edit: Playback and passthrough is flawless in the MINIX XBMC version that ships on box. Krypton has issues.
