Hi,
I have just had to reinstall both my Windows 10 Server (named WServer on my network) and my Pi2(running Libreelec) and I cannot now get access to my shared folders.
I have shared a folder on the server called “Data” via advanced share and given “Everyone” full control. When I use Kodi to add the Data folder, Windows Network (SMB), it brings up WORKGROUP Folder and within that I have Librelec and WSERVER.
I should be able to click on WSERVER and have Data folder pop up (as it used to) but it keeps telling me Error : Connection Time Out.
I have tried every setting on both the Pi and the server but I just cannot get it to work any more.
Any suggestions as I have lost a weekend, struggling with this?
In advanced sharing (in private network), I have the following:
Network discovery on, with turn on automatic setup.
Turn on file and printer sharing.
Use user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers
Use 128-bit enctryption.
Turn on password protected sharing.
