What’s wrong? why is kodi rendering with my CPU and not my GPU and more importantly how do I fix this?
no, I can’t use another version, they’re too resource intensive and there are dependency conflicts between preq package versions for higher verisons of kodi and preq packages for my video driver.
There was a brief era where my video card and audio setup were all playing nice with ubuntu and kodi and it was around the time 14 LTS got released; but after a few kernel updates and package updates and kodi v15, it all went to hell again because suddenly my gpu was 5 years old.
