Hi,
I am new to the Raspberry Pi Topic but I have an idea about a project I would like to realize.
These are the Parts I am going to buy:
Raspberry Pi 3
Anidees Silver Case (Picture)
Some kind of LED Strip (Picture)
Some kind of Air Mouse Remote (Picture)
– I want to cut the LED Strip to fit it inside the case. The question for this is: does it has to be the expensive neopixels or can I buy a different cheaper strip?
– The LEDs should light up with different szenarios in Kodi like:
- booting: light up the LEDs in rainbow color
- while playing a movie, dimm the lights a little and if the movie progress continous, light up more till the movie ends and then light up complete
- updates: flash a color
- pressing a button on the remote -> flash a color
Is this all possible? I think I have to use a different power source with more then just the 2A.
I know there is a product, called Slice but they still use the old Raspberry Pi 1 board and for 140$ I think I will be cheaper with my version.
