Windows 7/64 Ultimate,
i3 CPU with 8GB RAM,
Kodi v17.0, downloaded late February, replacing 16.1 that had been running perfectly for about 6 months.
Embedded video, Intel HD Graphics device ID 8086-0102 rev A, Gigabyte. Driver version 9.17.10.4299
Under Jarvis 16.1 everything was fine. Within a day after I upgraded certain videos would stutter badly (freeze for about half a second every 10 seconds) while others were fine. There’s no real rhyme or reason as to which videos stutter and which do not. I’m using the Amber skin, which was also upgraded at the time. I have no backups to revert to a known-good configuration (thanks, Acronis) so I’m not sure how to even begin troubleshooting this. Problem also occurs under Estuary.
