Hello. I am considering moving from a Win 10 Kodi to running a RPi Kodi. And I’m wondering how well my current hardware will work.
Currently, I have a Logitech wireless keyboard (K800) and mouse (M510); they both connect to a single Unified USB connector on my Kodi PC. I also use an Ortek remote (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00224…F8&psc=1), which also connects via USB.
I’m trying to determine if all 3 would continue to work with the Raspberry Pi, or if I would need some different models. I’ve seen the Ortek mentioned in a thread search here, so I am hopeful (altho I haven’t found anything that says it will definitely work). And I haven’t found anything definitive about the keyboard. I see the K700 on the verified hardware list, but not the K800. I do see the M510, so that should work (I hope),
I’ve found references that seem to indicate that I need to plug the 2 USB recivers (one for the Logitechs, one for the Ortek) into a separate, powered USB hub, and then plug *that* into the rPi?
So I’d need 2 wall outlets – one for the rPi power adapter; one for the powered hub?
Is that correct?
