Nvidia shield audio sync issues

I have and Nvidia shield with Kodi 17. I am having audio sync issues on everything. I have adjust the HDMI timing on the shield with zero changes. When I change the audio offset in Kodi I get it to correct sync. During my testing I did notice something odd. I start the video, the audio sync is messed up, I pause the video wait couple seconds and press play then the audio sync is completely fine. I’m not sure what to do here because it was working totally fine at one point, now all of a sudden It’s all screwed up. Anyone else having these issues?
